REALTORS® and Affiliates, your ideas and your voice are vital to CDIG. By participating and contributing to a committee through your service, you form the policies, procedures, and services for the future of the Association. You are invited and strongly encouraged to be a 2027 CDIG volunteer!
For your convenience, our Affiliate and YPN Committees will offer regional meeting options to better serve members across our expanded Association. Members are welcome to participate in either or both regional meetings, providing flexibility to connect, collaborate, and get involved wherever it’s most convenient.
Please review the committee descriptions below before deciding which committees you want to participate in. Committee selections will be reviewed and you will be notified by staff of your acceptance before the committee is scheduled to meet.

Affiliate Committee (Desert & Inland)
The Affiliate Committee provides Affiliate members an opportunity to help the Association membership and be recognized for their efforts. They provide support for various association committees and activities. Arranges recreational and social activities under the supervision of the Board of Directors to bring REALTOR® members closer in fellowship. (AFFILIATES ONLY)
DEI Committee
Promotes an inclusive and welcoming REALTOR® community that values diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences. The committee identifies opportunities for education, outreach, and engagement that foster belonging and ensure all members have opportunities to connect and contribute.
Education Task Force
Recommends and implements real estate education programs and seminars to meet the educational needs of membership.
Finance
The Finance Committee plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the financial affairs of CDIG.
Grievance
The Grievance Committee reviews complaints alleging a violation of a membership, Code of Ethics, and/or MLS duty to determine whether or not the complaint should be forwarded to the Professional Standards Committee for hearing. It does not, however, determine a member’s guilt or innocence or mediate between the parties. Its primary function is to determine whether or not a disciplinary complaint is appropriate for hearing. Please note that there is a training requirement that will need to be completed before serving.
Legislative Committee
Recommends and coordinates actions relating to statewide and nationwide legislation through C.A.R. and NAR through civic participation at the local level and recommends and coordinates action affecting city and county legislation, zoning, and regulations.
MLS Committee - Matrix
Recommends MLS policies, System Enhancements, Rules, and Regulations through the Board of Directors to CRMLS.
MLS Committee - FLEX
Recommends MLS policies, System Enhancements, Rules, and Regulations through the Board of Directors to FlexMLS.
Mountain Council
To provide information, connection, involvement, and support to REALTORS® throughout the mountain communities within the Association's service areas. The Council helps ensure that members in all mountain areas, including the newly added Idyllwild area, have access to Association services, resources, and opportunities.
Professional Standards Committee
Provides panelists for disciplinary or arbitration hearings in accordance with the Professional Standards Rules outlined in the California Association of REALTORS® Manual. Please note that there is a training requirement that will need to be completed before serving.
Property Management
Stay ahead of the latest legislation and industry updates that impact property management. This committee keeps members informed, engaged, and equipped with the knowledge they need to better serve their clients. From legislative monitoring to educational events, members help strengthen professionalism and awareness across our association.
REALTOR® Party
This REALTOR®-only committee is dedicated to protecting homeownership and promoting the REALTOR® voice in government. Members work to educate fellow REALTORS® on the importance of engaging and contributing to the REALTOR® Action Fund (RAF), and how these funds assist in making sure the REALTOR® voice is heard. As the Association's structure continues to evolve, this group may transition to a task force or subcommittee focused on REALTOR® Party and advocacy initiatives.
Strategic Planning Committee
The Strategic Planning Committee ensures the Association’s programs, initiatives, and priorities remain aligned with the Board-approved Strategic Plan. The committee monitors progress, identifies emerging needs and opportunities, and recommends adjustments or areas of focus to support the Association’s strategic direction.
Young Professionals Network (YPN) (Desert & Inland)
Plans, recommends, and implements education and networking events to promote growth, membership participation, and new leadership with CDIG.
