Affiliate (AFFILIATES ONLY)- Affiliate Committee is to provide Affiliate members an opportunity to help the Association membership and be recognized for their efforts. They provide support for various association committees and activities. The Affiliate Committee primarily interfaces with the Recreation Committee on special projects but may be asked to be involved with other Association Committees.
Audit/Budget and Finance (REALTOR® ONLY)- Proposes an annual budget to be considered by the Board of Directors at their September or October meeting. Conducts reviews of monthly and yearend financial statements; analyze financial impact of proposed Association programs and projects and make recommendations regarding them to the Board of Directors. Audits the financial statements including the Association’s monthly bank statements, investment statements, and credit card statements. The Committee has the responsibility to advise the Board of Directors on the operation and performance of the TIGAR Investment Account(s). The members will discharge their duties solely on behalf of TIGAR Investment and Reserve Policies.
Charity - Plan, organize, and oversee charitable events and distribution of funds. Any funds raised will be donated to the President’s Charity of choice, not to exceed two different charities.
Education - Recommends and implements real estate education programs and seminars to meet the educational needs of the membership.
Global/Cultural Diversity - The Global Cultural Committee of the Inland Gateway Association of REALTORS purpose is to provide members with global market updates on inbound and outbound transactions through education and networking as well as building partnerships with globally minded real estate agents in the local market.
Grievance (REALTOR® ONLY)- The Grievance Committee reviews complaints alleging a violation of a membership, Code of Ethics, and/or MLS duty to determine whether or not the complaint should be forwarded to the Professional Standards Committee for hearing. It does not, however, determine a member’s guilt or innocence or mediate between the parties. Its primary function is to determine whether or not a disciplinary complaint is appropriate for hearing.
Housing Affordability Fund - Responsible for promoting programs offering affordable housing and determining options for community residents, including the programs offered by C.A.R. and N.A.R. This is an outreach committee with an emphasis on promoting professional REALTOR® relationships while helping with housing issues and homeownership opportunities in the region. Draft and propose grant programs for consideration by C.A.R. HAF Committee.
Latino Professionals Network - Works to improve community relationships and improve homeownership rates for the Latino community.
Local Government Relations (REALTOR® ONLY)- Recommends and coordinates actions relating to CREPAC, IMPAC and LCRC. Monitors government activity in TIGAR area municipalities to ensure that REALTORS® have input into matters affecting the real estate industry and private property rights. Educates and encourages participation in the REALTOR® Party of California.
Membership - Works with TIGAR staff to facilitate new member orientation. Encourages member participation in association events and meetings. Works to develop and maintain association benefits awareness and growth. Responsible for the recommendation of all new members to the Board of Directors. Responsible for breakfast speakers/programs and the REALTOR® Appreciation Event.
MLS & Technology (REALTOR® ONLY)- Recommends MLS policies, procedures, Rules and Regulations through the Board of Directors to CRMLS.
Nominating (REALTOR® ONLY)- At least two (2) months before the annual election, a Nominating Committee of five (5) REALTOR® Members, shall be appointed by the President with the approval of the Board of Directors.
Professional Standards (REALTOR® ONLY)- Provides panelists for disciplinary or arbitration hearings in accordance with the Professional Standards Rules outlined in the California Association of REALTORS® Professional Standards Manual. Participation requires special training.
Recreation - Arranges recreational and social activities under the supervision of the Board of Directors to bring REALTOR® members closer in fellowship.
Young Professionals Network - Plans, recommends, and implements education and networking events to promote professional growth, membership participation, and facilitate opportunities for involvement in Association leadership.
Election (REALTOR® ONLY)- The Election Committee shall set a date on or before the annual meeting, on which the election will be held. The Election Committee certifies the election immediately after the election ends. No member of the Election Committee may be a candidate for office or the Board of Directors.
