We are accepting applications from CDIG Primary REALTOR^® Members to represent the association at the State level by serving on the Board of Directors of the California Association of REALTORS^®. Applications will be accepted Monday, July 27th at 12:00 pm through Monday, August 10th at 12:00 pm.

Applications will be submitted for review by the CDIG State Director Selection Task Force. Applicants must agree to a virtual interview by the State Director Selection Task Force on Thursday, August 20th or Friday, August 21st, between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. Interviews will last approximately 15 minutes. Selected State Directors are appointed to one and two-year staggered terms. 

The qualifications to serve as a State Director, as stated in the CDIG Policies and Procedures manual, are as follows:

• Must be a primary member in good standing of CDIG with no unsatisfied ethics or arbitration decisions.
• A CDIG State Director must have served either on the CDIG Board of Directors for one year or have served on CDIG (or other qualified AOR’s such as TIGAR, EVAR, CDAR or Idyllwild) Committee(s) for 24  months immediately prior to applying to be eligible for appointment and funding.
• C.A.R. Directors are encouraged to make an annual voluntary investment to the REALTOR® Action Fund of $148.00 (“The True Cost of Doing Business”) or above.  
• Must complete and submit the State Director Application and be interviewed by the State Director Selection Taskforce.
• CDIG appointed State Directors are qualified to serve as C.A.R. Regional Representative or C.A.R. Regional Liaison.
